In 1904, Harold Parkin and his brother founded the coat brand in the center of Newton Abbott, England.
They were the first in the world to develop reversible coats and sell it to wealthy customers.
In the year of 1900, the reversible coats were a highly innovative technology,
and they held multiple patents for their production techniques.
Some of which are still stored in The INVERTERE Buildings.
"INVERTERE" means "to turn around" in Latin and refers to reversible coats.
After World War II, in order to export to the world, they expanded the range of their products,
including the iconic model duffel coat, and build a worldwide reputation by their high quality and classic styling.
Since the 1980s, it had disappeared from the market,
but it was revived in the autumn and winter season of 2013, with modern-fitting models.
